Hat Done
The girl does not seem to be a hat person. It came out just as I'd hoped though, apart from the fact she won't keep it on her head for more than 1.5 seconds. There's certainly enough yarn left for matching mittens, so with just two more World Series games to watch (cross fingers) I can get those done.

I think it's an age thing. Liam does the exact same with his hats. On for less than a second.
It is gorgeous! Perfect for that little munchkin!
Perfect hat produced from gorgeous handspun singles. Kuddos! Most kids do that initially.
Hahaha! That kid cracks me right up. She's so damn cute.
Such a pretty hat! The colors are wonderful. Hopefully she'll grow used to it!
The colors are great! I think the neice needs something similar.
Garter in the round? or did you sew a seam? Anyway, it's adorable. I'd wear that in my size! ;-)
Hannah would never keep a hat on either. Maybe you should make some I-cord ties instead of mittens. Just saying. Go Sox!
Cute hat!
no I don't want a sweep, I want the Red Sox to clinch it at home :)
So cute! And nice spinning too.
My little guy did that too. Now he digs out hats at all times and gets furious if he can't get it to stay on just so.
That's a cute hat! Maybe she wants a Spidey hat like her big brother :-)
Just adorable. I DO hope you are rooting for the Sox...
Way cute. Keep at it, and give her a mirror to look at it on. that will do it I'll bet.
What a great hat ... and I'm with Carole. Some i-cord ties will solve your problem beautifully.
LOVE it! That looks absolutely adorable all knit up. :)
Holy Moly, Pumpkin Girl sure has grown! What a cutie! For what its worth, not one of my kids would keep a hat that didn't tie on either :-)
both are equally cute. matching mittens would be adorable!
It came out great! She's a cutey. Does she take off all hats?
