Off the Needles

I finally finished the 9-month socks. I cannot express how glad I am to be done with these. I like them very much for wearing on the feet, but man I hate them for the amount of time they took on the needles (my fault, not theirs, but still I hate them).

Project Specs:
Pattern: Baby Cable from Sensational Knitted Socks
Yarn: Trekking somethingorother, ball band is long gone
Needles: #1 addi turbo
Notes: Begone, devil socks!

You will be glad when the cool weather comes and you have a pretty new pair of socks to wear. Hopefully your hatred of them will be over by then. ;-)

Nice socks despite the hatred being leveled at them. Maybe a little absence in the drawer may make your heart grow fonder by the first cold snap. ;-) I do like the color.

I bet you'll LOVE wearing them, because every time you put them on, you'll get to gloat a little about the fact that they are no longer clogging your needles. ;-)

They are great socks (although they're red, so I would love them regardless), and as Beth said, every time you wear them you can revel in the fact that you FINALLY finished them.

Yeah, those baby cables can be slow and tedious but the socks look GREAT!

They're beautiful! Maybe put their devilishness to work and make them your prank socks? :)
