Crafty, but not Knitting

Speaking of distracted....I just had to share my latest crafty project. Faux BabyLegs made with a $3 pair of kneesocks from Target in about 15 minutes. Instructions can be found here. If I could find more good looking knee socks, I'd make more, but having trouble locating any - even in all the local megamarts where they should be.

P.S. I am aware I could knit her something similar, but these are the perfect weight for springtime, and you can't beat the instant gratification factor.

Brilliant! I MUST make some now for friends having babies! makes changing them easier, I would think?

She's getting so BIG! :) Not quite the wee one I held back in Feb!

Great idea! I wish I would have thought of that when my little ones were in the crawling phase.

Oh the cuteness! Excellent idea. Must remember that one. My little Henry has discovered his feet. It's so cute to see them playing with their feet with their little legs in the air.

Those are AWESOME! I love the colors. And the smile on her face, in the second picture? C'mon. My baby-cravings weren't strong enough in the first place? *grin* What a wonderful idea.

Those are brilliant! And the baby is just as cute as can be. She is really working the camera in the second shot. :-)

Have you tried the GAP? They have some of their argyles on sale (or at least did) which you could use. The sock quality is pretty good- that's where I get my socks now and when on sale it's so much sweeter :-)

That's a very clever idea! Less hassle when changing diapers, and the wee one still stays warm and covered. I love your thrifty take on the concept. :-)
